The NSF I-Corps Mid-Atlantic Hub and Morgan State University held a hub-wide cohort from October 10-24, 2025. The cohort featured 10 research-based teams, including one from Morgan State University, one from Penn State University, two from the University of Maryland, and six from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Teams were developing innovations in areas such as biotechnology, agricultural technology, and educational tools.

Participating teams conducted an average of 13 customer discovery interviews.

Many of the teams will be eligible for the national NSF I-Corps Teams program, which provides $50,000 for continued customer discovery.
